I originally had goals to get back to my college form, but was able to surpass those goals in less time. I have since reached new personal records and have been more motivated than years prior to maintain and keep pushing for improvement. The best part about working with Wes is his technical knowledge of the movements performed during training sessions and his attention to detail with form. He fixed all the forms I thought I was doing it right. Fixed the tightness/pain on my legs that was affecting some movements. It was like getting a physical therapy session too, crazy! I was diagnosed about as a teenager with a disease of the connective tissue, and doctors had been telling me for years that I'd always be weak and grossly underweight. I've had multiple surgeries on my lungs, developed asthma and respiratory problems, and had significant joint issues that made exercising seem impossible.
When Wes began training me a few years ago, I was 6' tall and just 108 lbs, and fresh off another lung surgery. I had no idea what I was doing, but he went above and beyond to design routines and adapt exercises for my physical limitations, progressively tailored them as I went from beginner to regular gym-goer, designed a diet for me, and introduced me to supplements, and taught me to love fitness. Within just the first few months, I had already gained over 30 lbs in muscle. Today I'm a solid 160 lbs and my doctors are STILL shocked by the transformation nobody thought could ever happen. I'm happier and healthier than I've ever been, and I seriously owe it all to Wes. read less

My workout routines were well designed to give a complete workout for the day. I was working out with him 3 times a week but never got bored of exercises because he explained me how to do right forms and how it impacts my body.Working out with him for a year, I completely transformed my body strength without any pain or injuries.. His knowledge and passion towards his craft is respectable. Through him I also realized that my thousands of dollars spent on acupressure and Chiro would never stop unless I fix my movement and mobility. Previously I just thought this was to lose weight but now it has become so much more. I'm a science teacher and he blew me away. His level of expertise about anatomy and physiology far surpasses what I ever learned in my university classes. He makes workouts fun and has even become a good friend. I've learned a lot. The price is right and the gym is located high in the hills with a gorgeous view of San Jose. I have serious sciatica and health issues and I'm already stronger and pain free after just a month. I hated working out before and now I look forward to going. This place is legit. I told him I was not... read moreI first met Wes when he was working as a personal trainer at 24 Hour Fitness. He randomly approached me about personal training when I was checking in at the front desk. I told him I was not interested and that no one would motivate me more to go to the gym than myself. As I walked away ... he continued to convince me to give it shot and try a free consultation which included weight/body fat measurements, several exercises to determine fitness level, and a discussion of fitness goals.
I knew I was unfit when I met him, but he made me realize how bad it really was. I was at my worst weight gain of my life at 155 pounds. As skeptical as I was with having a personal trainer, I signed up for 20 sessions of personal training with Wes. You probably think Wes pressured me or was a super aggressive salesperson to get me to sign up... you're WRONG! It was his honest feedback about my health and his genuine desire to help me be in a better state of health.
Flash forward, I have been training with Wes for four years now and I cannot express how much I love Wes. Over the years I have known him, I am always incredibly impressed by the wealth of knowledge he has on exercise, muscle groups, diet, stretching, etc. I can ask him anything and he always has a very scientific, thorough explanation for me every time! Wes' dedication to his work can be seen by his constant adjustments to my posture/form when we complete any exercise. He constantly pushes me to do more reps or more weight than I think that I can achieve. Not only is Wes great at building my strength and flexibility, he also addresses many of my aches/pains/knots throughout my body with stretching, rolling, and massages.
From strangers, to personal trainer, to one of my closest friends who I love and trust. Wes doesn't sugar coat anything or act like a drill sergeant that pushes you till you throw up. He's calm, understanding, and constantly finds ways to help me overcome my struggles (especially w/ food)! He has helped me accomplish more than I could hope for and I am so incredibly happy to have met him. Being someone who is so skeptical about personal training, I am happy to have met Wes 4 years ago. If you are someone who thinks personal training is a "waste of time" or it's "not for you"... give Wes a try! I have convinced 3 of my coworkers to train with him and they are all so happy with the introduction and the results they have seen with him. I hope you will find the same amazing qualities I see in Wes and I wish you all the best of luck in training with him! read less

I never thought I would be able to workout to the extent I am. He is very knowledgeable and never judges you if you can't do something. He just figures out another way for you to do it. He worked out a personal program just for me and I am more fit than I have ever been. I would follow him to any gym he would go to. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and truly designs his program around your goals. I'm quite petite and my experience with previous trainers is that they've never really put my size into account. Their recommendations for daily calorie intake seemed extreme and the required supplements were expensive and hard to keep up with. Wes on the other hand, accounted every element and calculated everything. He was able to make sense of his recommendations purely based on numbers and facts, which is why I decided to train with him. When I came to Wes in June 2019, I was already on my own fitness journey doing kickboxing and other cardio-based classes. However, as hard as I was training I wasn't physically where I wanted to be and with my wedding coming in November 2019 I had to tone FAST! Wes and I worked on a program that focused on toning my abdomen, back, and arms.By November 2019, I actually surpassed my goal and hit MANY PRs that I never thought possible. Aside from fitting into my dress, my proudest accomplishments were my push ups and pull ups. My max rep used to be about 5 push ups, and had never been able to do a pull up in my entire life. After training with Wes, I am proud to say I can do 20+ push ups and 4 pull ups among many other things! This is physically the strongest I have ever been in my entire life and I owe it all to Wes.So if you are looking for a trainer who will challenge you and push you to do that extra rep, call you out on your bs and encourage you when you're in doubt, then Wes is definitely the trainer for you!
